engine failsafe?
It has been a while since I have posted.I decided to change my oil and wash the engine compartment yesterday.Now I have an engine failsafe message on my readout.I do have an edge evolution and programmed it back to stock with no luck.Has anyone experienced these symptoms before?Please help!!!!!!!

By failsafe, you mean the MIL is on and your ECM is in limp home mode (FMEM). If the motor is dry, disconnect the computer or clear the DTCs and try it again. If it comes back, you will need to pull the code to diagnosis further.

i had my alternator repaired on my 2004 5.4 truck starts fine now, but its in failsafe mode i unhooked battery overnight no change, it shows a code pertaining to the failsafe mode but no other code, i have an edge tuner i can clear out the code but doesnt fix problem i have restored factory defaults and unhooked edge still no good any ideas thanks
