vibration after lowering
I have a 2006 f-150 supercrew. I installed the fabtech 1-3 inch rear shacle kit and I went full lower at 3 inches. The truck now sits level but I have picked up a vibration from the driveline. I have read other post about growls and this is probably a slight vibration as well. Does anyone know the degree of pinion shim that should go in to correct this?? I am thinking a 2 or 3 degree shim should do it. Any input is appreciated.

I purchased a lowering kit (1.5-2.0 inches difference) that includes tapered shims to keep the third member (differential) at the correct angle and prevent vibration. If you are lowering the rear 3 inches without the shims, that is likely the problem.
