help with key less entery

hello i need help with a key pad on the drivers door i have a 98 explorer trying to get the code so it can be re programed we bought the explorer with no code ? thanks kelly

Read through it and I think you'll find what you're looking for. Basically you should be able to pull the factory code from a sticker on your control box.

thanks . that did it i found it fast and the guy at the dealer looked there and said he could not find it and wanted to hook it up to the puter just to make money . i looked and saw the box it was loose and pulled it down and got the numbers in seconds . i wasnt thanking about a sticky for it next time i will have to slow down and look first before a post .thanks again kelly
