Explorer 2003 Transmission
I'm an expatriate here in Kuwait and got my 2003 Explorer only last Dec (2006). Only after few weeks I noticed about the minor transmission problem -- it was there before I'm sure but I think I didn't notice it when I drive-tested it. Anyway, the problem is the vibration I feel when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear, or from 1st to 2nd gear (the 2nd to 3rd is more like it). Since there's no more warranty, I think I'll just ignore it since it's minor. I tried searching related problems in this forum but didn't find one, or maybe just didn't try much. The closest was about using the wrong transmission fluid. Appreciate any helpful information, thanks.

I would not be ignoring the problem, it will not fix itself and could potentialy cost you a transmission. If you have the capability check for codes, and give us a comprehensive list of the symptoms.
