Anyone else gettin' slapped in the head?

I am tired of gettin' slapped in the head!

Does anyone out there know of a kit that I can buy to replace my existing headliner? I am tired of gettin' beat up!

The information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

What year is your Bronco? I got a headliner in a salvage yard out of a 94 F150 extended cab (my sunroof leaked at one time and messed my headliner up). I found one the same color as the existing in my 89, took out the sunroof and the old headliner, used the old one as a pattern for the new one. Went right in

Just a thought...

If your headliner is like most others out there (foam backed cloth adhered to a molded fiber board), it's not that big a deal to recover with new fabric. Take the old one down, and tear as much of the cloth off as possible. You should be left with the molded back board with a bunch of shallow foam glued to it. Take a drill with a wire wheel attachment (I prefer the cup-shaped wheel, medium to fine) and use it to remove the remaining foam and glue. Purchase an appropriate color and length of foam backed headliner material from your local automotive upholstery shop. Buy a couple of cans of 3M Trim Adhesive Spray and follow the instructions, coating the inside of the board and material and carefully applying the new fabric, smoothing it to the board from the center out to the edges as you go, wrapping the outer edges around the ends of the board and gluing them down, trimming as necessary. Using an Exacto knife, trim holes for the visors, dome light as necessary. Reinstall. Maybe this is more than you wanted to fool with, but it's not really that difficult.

how do you take it down without ruining the rubber gaskets that hold it to the roof? mine are pretty much shot and flaky from all the weathering.

or are these for something else?

I, too, was tired of being slapped in the head, but then I got a divorce.
