300 Hp 302

I'm gettin rdy to build a 302 for my 89 ford bronco. I have a block and heads that came out of a 88 bronco, but it is a 302 H.O. It probably began its life in a 86-91 mustang, not entirely sure. I want the engine to be fuel injected, and the goal is to have 300 - 350 hp. No supercharger, or nitrous. I'm wondering if anyone has done this or has any suggestions, or advice for me. Building the engine is pretty straight forward. Its gettin the fuel injection part that i'm not so sure about.

Look into getting a performance cam. should also have the pistons and rods balanced. that will gain you a lot but if you want a lot more power then heads are the why to go.

dump the heads and buy a set of after market heads. i have a set of trick flows on my 347 stroker and ended up porting them out because i needed more flow. to hit the 300 to 350 hp range isn't that hard if you match up all your parts well and pay attention to the little details. i agree with cedarratt have everything balanced it does make a big differance.
