tire sizes...
i have 265/75-R15's on my pickup and am gettin new tires soon. my question is this....is a 265/75-R15 the same size as a 30x9.5-15? i am planning on gettin BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO's. will they work?or are they a different size? thanx

The tires you have now convert to 31x10.5x15 so they are larger.

Or you can also go to BFGoodrich's site and look up the specs on the tire model you want. It will pull up a Adobe PDF file that tells how tall all their tires are, how wide and other pertinent info.

Here's a formula you can use for those times when you are not on the internet but have a calculator handy:
TireDiameter(in inches) = ((2 X SectionWidth X AspectRatio) / 2540) + WheelDiameter
For your 265/75-15's, the formula would look like this: ((2 X 265 X 75) / 2540) + 15 = 30.65"
To find the tire width, divide the SectionWidth by 25.4 (there are 25.4mm per inch). 265 / 25.4 = 10.43"
