Engine Cleaner and Conditioner

My local dealer sent me a 87K service reminder at a cost of $54.95. If I choose the basic service,(oil/filter/lube) it would be $27.95. My 27 dollar question is what is an "Engine Cleaner and Conditioner?

You need to ask them. If it were an internal engine oil flush, it's just a quart of what smells like kerosene run through the oil before they change the oil. Quart costs me $4.99.

An "engine cleaner and conditioner" cleans 27 bucks out of your wallet for no good reason.

Just get the oil change & "lube"

You might want to ask them what they "lube"
