I got an 07 SCAB FX2 with the Ford alarm from Ford. I was reading my alarm manual and it says there that if I wanted to adjust the alarm sensitivity amoung other things I would have to push the programming/override button located under the dash.
I have looked and looked no button. I see the red lED light for the alarm located just besides and below the headlight switch, but no button is to be had as I cannot locate it. Am I blind or what? Can anyone shed some light on this or do I have to go to the dealer and ask?
From what I have read about that alarm, the control module should be zip tied to a wiring harness somewhere under the dash (real fancy, huh). It's up to the installer to locate the module, so it could be about anywhere under there. It may be buried so deep that the lower cover has to be removed to see it.
