Need Locker Advice Quick!!!
my 150 is going in to the shop next week to gear down to 4.56's. i thought this would be a good time to add a locker to the rear end - but i was told that DETROIT does NOT make one for an '03 150 with the STERLING rear end...only EATON and AUBURN.
so...
1. was i misinformed?
2. if not - which is better?
3. if i WAS misinformed...is that the better choice of the lot?
4. and - is $600 about right?
i gotta get my order in ASAP to get it by tomorrow so i can have it for monday...

According to Randy's R&P (www.ringpinion.com) Detroit does make a locker for the 9.75" axle. I'm assuming that's what you meant by sterling axle - the 8.8" is also technically a sterling axle.
