1997F-350 had some pics of his A-pillar pod in his gallery. Half pillar go "halfway" up the pillar post and full pillar go all the way up the pillar post.

Half pillar is usually 1 maybe 2 gauges that only goes half way up the pillar, and a full pillar can be 2,3 or 4. I have a 2 gauge full pillar. I want the 4. I don't think the half pillar ones look as nice. I just need get around to getting one. I have boost, egt, temp (eng), and volts. I plan on getting tranny temp next. I don't have any pics I will try and get some on here later.

That's what I thought/was afraid of...that it just went iver the existing one....I was looking for a replacement to my (pretty beat up) trim. I guess it don't matter much except for me...since I look at it all the time....most people can't see that high up anyway....I just love big trucks....

yeah mine just goes over the existing. uses the 2 screws at the very top of the pillar to mount then a few push pin retainers lower.

TJ, does yours fit pretty good? Mine doesn't match up the holes worth a crap... I have some many wires going up that a-pillar that the thing doesn't sit properly.

I didn't install it the PO did but I have had it off and it is difficult to get everythign lined up. the wires are the big issue. takes some work but eventually lines up ok. the top lines don't match the trim very well but the rest is alright.

I have the same problem too. Just be patient in getting the wires and stuff routed correctly and it will sit correct. I also added a screw and painted it to match my red interior so everything looks peachy. Good luck guys.
