4x4 shocks on a 4x2?

4x4 shocks on a 4x2?
Can I use 4x4 shocks on a 4x2? I'm trying to level the front of my truck and add a 2in block on the rear so I can get a little bit of lift (as you can see, my truck sits low). but I cant find any shocks for my 2wd truck. so can I just use stock (0" lift) 4x4 shocks on my truck?

Shocks won't give you lift. I don't know if 4x4 shocks will fit. How much lift in the front you want? Your going to replace the springs if you want lift. If you only want like 1 or 2 inchs i could imagine you wouldnt have to replace anyhting else. If you go to anything higher i think you might have to replace the pitman arm.

thank you both for your replys, I know shocks wont give you lift. I have a leveling kit I want to install, so if I instal the leveling kit I need new (longer) shocks (I think the 4x4 shocks are longer). I've been looking for (2in longer) shocks for my truck with no luck. so I'm trying to see if the 4x4 ones are longer and will fit.
