I have just purchased a 96 bronco EB and it currently has 3 different brands of tires on it. I am looking for any suggestions on what kind of tires to buy.
I have received strong recommendations for Pirelli Scorpion AT and Bridgestone Dueler.
I would like to go as big as possible which I believe is 31 with the 96.
I mostly drive highway to and from work, with limited off roading for when I go hiking.
You'll get a million different responses to this post. I can recommend http://www.tirerack.com/survey/SurveyComments.jsp?additionalReviews=y&tireMake=Pi relli&tireModel=Scorpion+A%2FT that you read the reviews here and see for yourself. I made this suggestion on an earlier post and was run off by the Goodyear bunch. I have 500 miles on my Scorpions and love them.
yo vcmadsen,
Our 96 Bronco wears the 32x11.50's well; a slight trim of the bumper valence and adjustmt. of the bumper was all that was needed.
Pics in my Gallery here of how they look.
The bridgestone Dueller AT's are the best truck tires I've had.

I have to chime in with the "Different" option.
I am running the Big O brand Dual Groove ATs. They are awesome for the freeway and have good wet traction. They are self cleaning lugs so snow shouldn't be a problem either.
The best thing is that they are QUIET, and are also very smooth, no vibration whatsoever. You would never guess a Bronco could ride so well. The treadwear rating is 440 so they should last a while too.
I couldn't believe the improvment when I changed from the BFG ATs to these. They are $130 each in the 31" size.
Thanks for all the info guys, I decided to go with Pirelli A/T's. I stuck with the 31's, but thanks for the tip on adjusting the bumper. I'll look into that once I have a place to work on my truck.
I needed tires a few months back,so I stuck with the same brand&size tires Ford put on my Bronco when it rolled off the assembly line 3/90 : Goodyear Wranglers 31x10.50x15s.
