f250 35" tires

I am contemplating going to a 35" tire on my 06 f250. I have the plow package wich essentially makes the truck level. I believe the 35s will fit. But should i go with a 2.5 or 3" lift to be safe?

I have a 35" tire on my 03 F250 ( 315-75-R16) almost a 35 anyway.. and the rub pretty bad... I just changed then from a 305-70-R16 but now feel i need to do some sort of a lift.. or level kit

If you have the funds I would do a small lift. It would look better even if it doesnt rub stock.

A leveling kit up front and F-350 blocks in the rear will give your truck a nice stance and clear the 35s easily.

100% depends on the wheels.

I clear 34.5x11.50 tires on stock 18s with just the stock 6000# front springs that came with my plow prep package. On aftermarket 17x9 -8mm offset wheels and a 2" leveling kit 35x12.50s rubbed. Stock wheels + 2" and you'll clear 35s, but as soon as you go to aftermarket wheels all bets are off and it could take a 4" lift to clear depending on how wide the wheels are and how far out they're offset.

As was already said, it all depends on wheels. My brother had a '06 F350 regular cab with 35x12.50 with no lift, tires fit fine in the wheel well. He is using the stock 20x8 wheel and 8 inch is too narrow for that wide of a tire. So when he shops for new wheels he will have to get the proper backspacing so he doesn't have to lift the truck.
