I have been searching but can't find the right answer. I have a 2006 F-250 4x4,SC,LB and was curious if a set of 37x12.5 would fit without a lift. Maybe just a leveling kit.
This is where I get a little confused. The new style f 250/350 stock run a 33 or 35 tire. So if you put a leveling kit and taller rear blocks I don't see why 37/12.5 won't fit. They are only a couple inches taller and I think an inch and a half wider then the stock 35's. I think I am just going to do it and see what happens....
Please do and let us know. I think an F350 with leveling kit would fit, but will likely rub the control arms just based on the taller tire actually comes into the wheel well/control arm when turned.
On '05 and up stock trucks 35/12.5 fits nicely. 37/12.5 will not clear on stock suspension but can be squeezed on if you have the snow plow package (X code springs), but it is tight and will have some rubbing.
stock setup will not take a 37'' tire. with a 2.5" leveling kit I was told I could run 35's
A stock 2005+ will run 35" tires. There are a number of people on the board doing it. I think a 37" will be too close to the front bumper and will rub the control arms even with a leveling kit, but I sure could be wrong.
That dosen't make sense. If the truck is stock and has a stock suspension no snow plow prep or anything and has the stock 35x12.5 and you put a 2.5 level kit up front and taller rear blocks why wouldn't they fit? I understand if you turn and lock the wheels it might rub. And besides that most all tires you buy may say one size but when they are measured thay are slightly smaller. I am looking to buy a set of 37x12.5x18 and they manufacture states the overall diameter of the tire is 36.5. I am going to do a little more searching and see what I come up with. Thanks for the input!!

I wouldnt do it without some sort of elevation. I tried 35s though and it looked like pizza cutters. Stock may not be high enough. my $.02
Well first of all, the biggest tire you can get from the factory is 34.1/11 (actual size) and that tire is a fairly tight squeeze. So going to a 35/12.5 starts to make things real tight, width more so than height becomes the problem. When it comes to a 37/12.5 you really have to watch the bumper clearence especially.
Here are some pics of a guy who did 37/12.5's but he does have X codes.

I have been running 35/12.5R18's on my stock wheels and stock suspension with no problems. Mine has tighter clearences to deal with than '05 UP. I bet that even on mine with X codes and bumper spacers I could run 37's.
