06' PSD Question??????

Well I am strongly considering purchasing a new 06' cc, f-250, auto, 4x4, xlt. I had an 03' in pretty much the same truck / configuration. Problem with the 03' was I had to go lemon on it. 3 rear main seal in 5 months isn't a good thing!

So here is the situation I am in. I really would like to get back into a PSD, but has the reliability improved any? I know people had great 03' trucks but mine wasn't! I just don't want to have to go thru all the aggeravation of the DSB again.

Any help, opinions, etc you guys could offer would be great!!!

I love my '06, don't go make a BIG mistake and buy one of the others (i.e. duratrash, cummins). Just my 2 cents

I wouldn't trade my 06 6.0 PSD Lariat 4X4 for anything. I just went on a road trip of 1400 miles in 2 days and it was like driving a luxury sedan. You'll love it. No problems what so ever and averaged 19.3 per gallon.

I had an 03 6.0 (darn good truck) and traded for the 06 Tow Boss which is a fantastic truck. As cabinetmaker mentioned, a lot of great improvements such as steering/front end and overall smoother ride... You should be able to get a great price an either a new 06 or 07: Minimum 20% off sticker, although quite possible to get 25% off! Good luck

In Houston area there is a dealer giving $11,500,oo off MSRP (this include a $1,500.00 mark loyalty discount) only catch (there is always one) is dealer extras are to by paid for, so you can't ever get a stripped, bear bone factory truck.
