My display of my overhead console just died.
First, is there a fuse that powers this display?
Second, is there a fix for the printed circuit board?
Or is it necessary to replace the circuit board?
I have the circuit board removed at present.
Thanks guys, I just saw on the board one of the "680" resistors that was very loose - in fact, when I touched it, it came all the way off the board. I also noticed another space adjacent to the loose one - looks like that resistor had already fallen off. Did not notice it in the board holder when I removed it.
Q: Is there a place to order another "680" resistor?
The 680 is a 68 ohm resistor. I couldn't get a good solder on the stock resistors so I replaced mine with 68 ohm resistors from radio shack. they are cheap and a lot easier to solder than the stock ones.
Hey guys, thanks for all the input.
Thanks CLUX, I was wandering if you could just use a standard resistor.
The "surface mount" solder connection is difficult to perform on the original resistors without the proper tools.
I will get two of those 68 ohm resistors.
