That is what I have heard. It is not for me.I am a parts broker and am shipping it to Holland. It is a pretty nice truck.I buy old cars and trucks and ship overseas.Pretty good money in it.I will load it down with parts and it will be gone in a month.
Let me guess..Rotterdam, then Stockholm or Switzerland. Had three go over there last year. One to Sweden, two to Switzerland. The guy in Sweden whose father owns the shipping line...saw pics of his collection...1000's of American cars stored in shipping containers. Unbelievable.
A little island off of Holland called Ameland. No big collector. My buddy just likes big old cars. I am amazed with gas there averaging $ 10 a gallon. They buy to cruise on weekends. He buys them drives for a while sells for profit and buys another.I have shipped 3 this year. 79 bronco,78 suburban and 75 Lincoln.I have ads in paper there for american car parts and I ship over in vehicle and he distributes.Saves alot of money on shipping and we all make $. Best thing is,parts they want are easy to get here.Lift kits.driveshafts,seals.Cost alot to ship car but loading down with parts evens out.All in all not bad deal.Pays the bills most days and keeps me at home to work in my shop.
