To find that much lift just in suspension "off the shelf" for a 78 1/2 ton, I doubt its out there, especially for a 1/2 ton.

It will probably have to be custom built $$. Things like radius arm drop plates, big coils springs, all new rear springs arched like crazy to stay away from a stupid tall axle block.

Steering is going to be a nightmare, cross over conversion time yes? All that and does the truck still have a D44 front and 9" rear axle?

Probably still have a married NP 205 transfer case? Will need to go to a divorced xfer case and lower it unless you want crazy d/s angles? Hope it is not a short bed either.....

Get the 9", 3" body lift the cab, and the flat bed....if you just have to go that big? 44", 46", 54" tires, needs a big motor, tough trans, D60's front and rear, chrome moly axles, CTM u joints......

moneypit....you are right about that. lol

You're stoned and probably don't even have a welder.

Wouldn't the cab be lifted higher then the flatbed if I only done the body lift on the flatbed? And I was only curious about it I have a newer truck also and they make 14 inch lifts that just bolt on.

Put the 3" body (cab lift) on and then make the flat bed lift spacers to make the flat bed the appropriate height.

14" really...well it's NOT a new truck, so I bet absolutely NO off the shelf lifts that much either.

You might as well go buy a surplus 5 ton Army truck and put your cab on it, if you want all that. Be careful it will end up looking like these these guys. lol

Glad I can provide some other humor to this thread....lol

Tire Fender Clearances - What Hits, What Fits

9" suspension lift and 3" body lift, according to most charts like the one above.

Yes I agree HIO, I would leave your truck as is moneypit and just drive it.
