Question Lifting my truck

Alright guys, we just got a 1979 Ford F-250 with a 6 inch skyjacker lift and 36 inch tires. Will this lift fit on my 1996 Ford F-350? This would be a good cheap way for me to get my truck lifted a little bit. I'm not worried about the front springs being to weak for the weight as the 79 already has a 5.9 cummins in it and it did have a snow plow on it and they are holding up fine. So will it work or should I not worry about it? I have some time to get this figured out since my truck just decided to blow a rod out the side of the block though. Going to take a few weeks to get another motor built for it. Sorry for the long post, thanks guys.

The year break on parts is 73-79 and 80-97, so I'm not sure. Some body with more knowledge should be along to let you know, or you can contact Skyjacker. I'm sure that they would be able to tell you.
