I have made a minor error my compression ratio chart.
We are doing some machining to our piston, and I decided to drag out the blue print of the pistons to double check some items.
I have errored in 2 areas,
1st) Both the hyper pistons have a 1.710" comp. hgt not 1.720" We did leave room for machining the block.
2nd) The step dish is 13.3cc not 14cc
So when I take the new calculations, 76cc head, 9.2cc gasket, 4.030 bore size, 10.300' deck height, I now get 9.31:1 comp ratio, not 9.4 that I originally stated.
This may help the discussion in small duration cams.
Also bottom line is, knowing what your cylinder head volume is, actual block deck height, bore over size will also affect this a little.
