The hyper pistons will be back and here to stay. They are machined for us by Keith Black. They are set up for the 975 pin size, press fit only. It is a step dish design, so they will have part of the piston at "Zero" deck height, then step down. Theye are ment to be a drop in piston for the aussie heads, and yeild 9.5:1 compression.
We will also have a load of aussie heads on there way, so we will be able to offer a cylinder head and piston package.
I will post pictures when they arrive.

Reason: typo
how much are these going to sell for? also, will the step down feature affect the "quench" we are trying to achieve by using the closed chamber aussie heads? looking foreward to seeing these.
The quench area is located in the major quench area. The other 2 areas have no quench, KB said they did some testing and having a quench in all the areas, was not a gain over having the single quench. They are trying to eliminate as much aluminum exposed above the ring. Retail should be about $295 a set. 20's,30's and 40's
Tim, this is great news. I have been waiting to hear more on the new pistons. I also would like to get an idea on price, as soon as you know. My original plan called for the CHI 2V heads, but cash has been a big issue lately, so I think I'll go with the iron heads for now, but would definitely like to get the CHI's in the future. If you come up with a package deal, please let me know. The $295 for the pistons is reasonable, I just need to know about the heads. Thanks.
Just let me know, I have a number of customers waiting for the Badger pistons. Badger has none right now and everyone is waiting. If you want to sell them, send me your phone number, and I'll have them call you. A guy call last night looking for 40's.
DOHC he's getting the 302/351boss/cleveland cast heads from oz- from salvage yards- closed chamber to sell with these pistons. I got a set and will buy the pistons soon.
call you on Monday Tim to order the 040. I think I will sell my 040 badger flattop on ebay and see if demand will help pay for your pistons...hope that isn't seen as being nasty but it's a way for me to save some $$ I hope as my project is WAY over budget. I will start them off at $190 with free shipping- no further reserve. I'll get them on ebay before Monday night if you have anyone interested
