I'd rather of had the '68 Camaro the guy who owned the barn next to ours had...it had 14K on it...had sat in a barn for virtually it's whole life with a cover over it. It was gorgeous.
Older fellow...sold it to a kid down the street for 1K...he wrecked it later that week. Sad...I'd had every intention of buying it and the kid had said he couldn't get the money, turn around and it's gone.
Actually I thought it must be a typo, and it was 135k miles, but when it was gone after only 3 days I figured it must have been 35k and I blew it. Oh well, I am sure other good deals will come along. No, I did not give anything to hold it. I was just "looking" at that year range of Rangers to see what they were going for, and never expected a deal like that to appear. I was not prepared to pay anything, and would have to wait until payday. Now, it does not matter. So instead of just teasing myself, I will wait until I can make an offer before tempting my eyes
Well...perhaps by taking it slow and looking for a killer deal, you can end up finding a real great truck for a price that fits your budget and one that's in good shape.
Hopefully...you'll just have to wait and see. Ok...pitiful I know...keep them Nighteyez open!
My first Ranger was a 2000, last year for the older style. It was a great truck that was totalled unfortunatly. I now have an 06 which is the newer stly, like an 01. In my opinoinit is a much nicer truck. However there was nothing wrong with my 2000. I never would have even gottin this one i have now if my old one was not tottaled. Hope this help.
