Thanks for pointing out the obvious RACER, yes she is a leap year girl, so we celebrate it on the 1st on the non-leap year years, ha say that 3 times fast.
Pickupman its my bday also ( 29 feb/ Mar 1). I love still being 9 years old. LOL.
IMO I have a 2K X and the seats were definately not good quality. Yeah I get in and out of my trucj quite often thorughout the day, but the quality of the leather was garbage. My drivers seat is still together no rips but deifnately shows wear and tear. AS for comfort I love it. Lumbar is somewhat weak but I fixed it with a quick $5 pillow for long drives. It is my sons pillow actually.
oh, then my bad. sorry. i thought you were serious. its cool. no hard feelings. oh, hope i didn't hurt your feelings from the other post for the black wheels too. crying, theres no crying in fte.

I don't get upset that easily. It's all in good fun
I also found my factory 2000 Ford Excursion seats to be terribly uncomfortable. I replaced them with 2001 Chevy Silverado seats, also fully loaded. I knew they would be more comfortable because my dad has a loaded 2001 Suburban.
I love these seats, especially the adjustbale head rests. I have driven from St. Louis to Boston a few times with them in the Ex. Had to fabricate mounts. Haven't been able to make the seat heaters or memory positions work, largely because the harnesses were cut.
I will someday add heating pads under the leather. If i didn't use these, Corvette seats would have been a likely option. You should try seats in lots of vehicles and just choose what you want. Then locate them on ebay or a junk yard.

Here's the problem though.
If I do that, i will NOT know if they fit
I will NOT be able to do this myself and I will have to pay someone to do it and it will cost me a fortune.
I actually don't care much about the heat and the memory.
I only got the heat because of my little dog. SHE gets cold. I keep it cold as hell in the truck and I've never really needed heated seats. As for the memory, I'm single (now) so no one else drives the truck.
