In a few weeks I am having a Line-X liner sprayed in my 2004 F250. Can anyone convince me to go with a different liner or reinforce my choice for Line-X? My truck is a daily driver that will have limited use as a hauler.
I haven't had the line-x done yet in my F350 but have had it in other trucks and it is a fantastic product. I can not think of a reason not to have it done.
Did a search for you. You might get a few replies here in this thread but the search revealed like 25 threads about the same topic. Might be useful to read what others personal experiences are.
The two top brands seem to be Line-X and Rhino. Both have very good warranties, it just comes down to what you like, and the shop thats installing it (prep work, thinkness, quality, etc.) I personally like the Line-X.
Has anyone had their wheel wells done. I wouldn't mind doing it to my 05 navigator. I am a **** freak and it would be nice to have easy to clean wheel wells. Plus they might hold the tire wet I use on them.
Well I did a lot of research on bed liners and decided on a LineX liner. I realy wanted a LineX liner but their is only one dealer in town and they have 0 customer service. Tried twice to make an appointment and failed.
I think LineX is a verry good product it all depends on your local dealer.
On Wed. I'm getting a liner done by Ultimate Linings. They have a choice of liners and one is a lot like LineX. I hope I'm not making a mistake and it works out alright. They do have a verry good local reputation.
i love my linex...wouldn't have gone with anything else. it's all in the prep work. see links in my sig for pictures of the bed and the other project i did with the stuff.
LineX for sure. Difference between LineX and Rhino is that the LineX is a hot application whereas Rhino is cold. Between the prep your LineX dealer will do and the hot application It's #1 for me.
I've done Line-X in my 98 Ranger, my 07 Ranger, and my father's 04 F250. I have not had a problem with any of them. I would not worry about using Line-X at all...
Had line-x put in my 06 ranger bed, good stuff!! Things don't slide as much
and it doesn't scratch or chip, had tool boxes,hi-lifts,saws, cables etc banging around when I'm in the woods. No damage! Going to get it sprayed
on my rocker panels next.
Rhino warranty is only at the dealer who applies it. Line-X is nation wide. Line-X is also approved by the government for use on military buildings, including the pentagon. I would go with Line-X every time.
I used LineX on my F-250 6 years ago and was very happy with it. I called the same shop to do my new F-150 and they no longer deal with LineX due to Franchise requirements. I think they are now Ultra Trucks or similiar.
I looked at Rhino and while it has a different texture, it looked pretty good to me.
Most posted messages are from people like me with LineX experience. Anyone have experience with Rhino?
