I am planning on insulating my interior of my 57'. My question is my truck has the T98 4-speed trans, and it isn't exactly a quiet trans, I'm planning on doing the floor, roof, doors, and rear of the cab. I really want to quiet the noise from the trans so I can actually hear my stereo without blairing the music. I'm using the regular insulation with the foil on one side. Does any one have any other suggestions as to anything I can add to it. I've checked the Dynamat web site and see that they have other thing you can put over it. All suggestions are appreciated.
That rino-liner stuff that NAPA sells works real good to help quiet road noise.Spray it overhead and under your floor mat and under the trans floor plate. Dorsey
