For those who have TowCommand...
Installing TowCommand now. Want to know what is normal for this system. As far as the dash module:
If there is no trailer attached, any lights on when truck is running? Does it act the same way if computer was 'told' it was there or not?
If no trailer attached, when pressing brake does the braking pressure lights come on?
So basically if I just plug in dash module, does it light up at all or do anything?

Like Danno said, it lights up when firat powered up, then goes to sleep.
If you fuss with it (with no trailer attached) it will light up for a bit and sound a tone. If a trailer is attached it will stay lit.
Can't answer the question about the computer, mine came from the factory.
