So I ask the Valet "Do you know how to start a Diesel?" he responds "You just turn the key and wait for the thingy."

Oh f'in great!

I'm gona try to go down there tomorrow in the morning and get the truck myself. I wonder how many dents it is gonna gome back with.

Well, at least he knew enough to look for the "wait to start" indicator

Just to be safe, maybe you should sleep in the truck.

I'd love to sleep in the truck, But it's to freakin cold.

BTW the Concert was pretty good (Rascall Flats).

So tomorrow morning when I get my truck, I'm doing a very thorough walk around before I get in. Maybe I'll sneak down to the lot and try to find it to make sure she is ok

LOL

Everything turned out fine. My wife and I did a thorough walk around and nothing was damaged. So all was well.

Next time we're taking her Minivan, and I'll ride in the back and watch movies.

Looks like they scuffed the hook also, but that may buff out. I guess that is one reason I would NEVER buy a new truck. The first dent/scratch/scuff/road salt/etc would hurt way too much!

na, that isn't gonna buff off the hook, all the paint is gone.

Word to the wise, when the valet returns with your car and doesn't stay for the tip, something is wrong

Ouch, That sucks!!! Reminds me of the big scratch I put in the side of my 1988 F250 about 2 months after I got it painted. Had the truck for 10 years and never even got a door ding in the old faded paint. Get it painted and it becomes a target.

Nothing a little touch up paint won't fix. Heck, if that was my truck it would already have a couple of those. But then again, you can't give me anything nice.
