I feel for ya, Well I would go back to that hotel and find that Valet. Have him look at that and then tell him that he needs to grow some ***** and learn to fess up to his mistakes. Now for what even he hit, I bet if it was more damaged than your truck . Good luck!

Yup, we both missed the walk around. I didn't even look at the bumper, I thought if anything the morrors would have been hit. Also, the truck was covered in salt, so you couldn't see much at all.

I called the Hotel. Their answer was "too bad, you left the lot". Basically what I'd thought they would say. I can get it fixed Wednesday for $200. So I'll just chalk it up to experience and an expensive lesson learned.

But I'm still pissed about it!

I work at a hotel, and I can say that if you flip the valet $20 they take care of you. If you want it left out front, put in a good spot, they will bend over backwards for a 20. When you asked the valet if they knew how to start a diesel I hope you didnt come off condescending in the way you said it. Ive had many a BMW owner ask me if I knew how to start their car, because theres no key involved its push button. After all the explaination and no tip, I took my tip out on their tires and made sure when they came back to claim their car it took a good 15min wait for them to get it. With all that being said, I would NEVER!!!!! valet any of my vehicles.

I am sorry but there is no excuse for what that Valet did.....accidents happen but who ever the valet was should have confessed about the accident. Giving some one a extra $20 should not decide on how they treat you car, its there job to park cars and be responsible, But that valet was anything but responsible. I never valet my vehicles because I dont trust those guys, give them the wrong look and they might take your truck/car for a joy ride. As for that BMW, that is completly irresponsible and just to let you know I think your an jerk for not respecting someone else's property.

P.S. I was a CrewCheif in the AirFoce, and my job was to make sure the F-16 was ready for the pilot when they came out to go do a mission vice versa when they came back from there flight I was responsible for makeing sure that everything was ok for the next flight. It didnt matter if we got paid extra/got a tip from a pilot(yeah right) but it was our job, you do it no matter what you get paid...you sure as hell dont slack off if you didnt get extra money. Its called "Integrety, Service before self, excellence in all you do" thats what makes you who you are......if you dont live by that you are a dirtbag!.

Holly cow that sucks big time. That makes me sick to my stomach and it's not even my truck. I think that I'd probably go ballistic if it was my $45,000 truck.

How come a new vehicle ( I have purchases several showroom NEW in my life) has a big red bullseye on it?????? Honestly...Everytime I purchase a new truck/car its like the whole damn world is out to wreck me. They run red lights in front of me....the band the door into me in the parking lots....some jerk backed into me in a HOTEL lot. The damn bird **** on the truck when I park it under a tree. ON THE OTHER HAND....I have an old ugly rusty 79 ford pickup for yard waste/dump etc. I could fall alseep at the wheel in the middle of LA traffic and every son/and mother..lol...would avoid me like the plague....It like the old truck put out signals...if you hit me...YOU die

Exclamation

JJPMach1,

I can totally sypathize with you. I never had good luck with valets anywhere.
......You want some action taken by the hotel!......call your credit card company and place your room charges in dispute unitil the issue is resolved to your liking. Most companies will fight to get your money back! I did this with AMEX and they have ZERO tollerance for anything bad happening to their customers! If you stick to your guns with the credit card company you'll most likely get your money back!!!!!!!!!!
