Dash Pad Repair

Is their any way to repair a cracked dash pad or do you have to go out and get a new one??

I just bought the Cover Lay hard cover. It is not like a mat but a complete hard cover that is almost invisible when installed and makes the pad appear as new. Both of my 80's truck dashes collapsed at the speaker cutouts and the hard cover did the trick for me.

By the way....thanks for the Cheapo Paint post....I'm going to try it!

Where were you able to get the hard cover at?? I am gonna try that painting thing on my truck too.

I've fixed cracks by grinding them out a little bit and then filling it with fiberglass resin with matting shreaded into it. it works nice for fixing cracks in the plastic dash piece over your glovebox also.
