When I switch my tank over to the aux tank it will not register how much fuel is in the tank it just stays the same as it was on the regular tank, Is their another switch I have to flip? I have two switches on the dash that I do not know what they do so I will take a pic tomorrow and post it. 1968 f-250 360, thanks for the help
my 69 f250,camper speacial had two,one on the driver side floor near the seat bottom, marked main and aux tank.one on the bottom of the dash on left side of steering wheel marked the same.
D3TZ-9A050-B is the part number for the dash switch. It's used thru the 1970's.
C7TZ-9189-B is the part number for the floor switch. It fits 67/68 and some 69's.
D0TZ-9275-D is the part number for the aux gas sending unit. It fits all 1968/72's. The float, screen and gasket are the same for all Ford sending units 1957/79.
Numbers; got a question a little off topic.
What was the last year Ford used a large thermostat on FE motors before going to a smaller one? I have the smaller thermostat housing in iron on the 68 CS (390) but looking for another iron housing for the large thermostat.
This is because the old Edelbrock F427 has the large thermostat hole and I want to run it on the truck. Thanks, Carl.
Number; again your the answer man, thanks now I know what year trucks to look for at Pick-N-Pull. I believe these are die cast potmetal or aluminum from Ford. I wonder if I can get a iron one with the same angle as the small housing I have as it's iron.
I'm thinking as my last option to chuck the small housing in the lathe and open the step for the larger stat. I must use a large stat in this early intake.
FTE should have a section for part numbers and you running it, got my vote.
Thanks bro.

I bought part number FSA 84829 water outlet from a part warehouse. FSA, Four Season Airconditioning. I am sure a NAPA or any other part store should be able to cross the part number.

Please take one thing into consideration: Engine swaps...who knows what engines might be in pre 1968 trucks. The car FE's from 1964 and earlier use generators, so the waterpumps are different, as is the dipstick location. Easy to spot. Big M in Chico will have what you want, but Chico is a bit far away. He will ship.
FYI: B9AZ-8501-A Waterpump 1958/62; C4AZ-8501-A 1963/64. These pumps were only used on cars.

Yes - the brass valve on the left side of seat switches the plumbing, the electrical switch on the dash switches the sender electronics, on a stock set-up. Over the years some people have changed the gas valve to an electric valve controlled by the switch on the dash.
The large iron thermostat housing is now an absolete part at my auto parts stores catalogs. Fourseasons has the small stat housing in iron Pt# 84818 list $25.67 my price $17.59, made in China.
All around the old iron small stat housing was my better choice first in quality of casting and second price. I machined it to accept the large stat. It's good to go on the old intake.
