adding power steering

I need to upgrade to power steering. Does any have some info on this swap? What I need and what years will work. Thanks,

Most people use a 77.5-79 f-250 4x4 box. You will have to box the frame in, and cut out a section of a the crossmember for clearance.

That sounds like allot of work. Is that necessary just for the newer style? Is there one form a 73-76?

It would be necessary for the use of any power box to box the frame in. I've heard of people using a box from a '70's 3/4 ton 2 wd but I haven't seen any pictures, so I don't know if it would be any easier.
