Wow Hogtied. Your truck is like my trucks older brother. The blue(thats blue right or maybe its white?) is a really weird color. Mine changes color depending on the lighting. I like the split grill the best too but I couldn't find a project truck with one. Thats not a moose in the back its my yellow lab, Buddy. Right as I was clicking the picture he decided to give me some attitude or maybe he was just showing off his best feature, LOL.
My truck is a 79 custom explorer with an "enhanced" 302/C4 with tilt, cruise, intermittent wipers, AC, AM/FM stereo. I omitted the explorer stripes on the repaint.
I wish my "Evangaline" looked as good as your trucks. I know time and paitence and elbow grease and lots of green . Just a question though my 73 has the same grill as hogtied's 77 except mine has clear signal lenses. Is that normal or was mine changed before I got it???
Thanks for the quick answer Scottie. I didn't pickup on that diffrence. Guess I have the right one for a 73 and since I have already picked up new grille pieces thats what I'll stay with but I do like the 77 grill
I think a quick post of a pic or a link of a pic is great. Sure, I can go dig thru the galleries anytime, but I enjoy looking at quick pics posted in a thread. Most sites encourage this. I completely understand that not everyone has high speed, but why should the masses suffer due to the few? Not trying to stir anything up, just my opinion. Mike
Awesome Supercab and wrecker, draglink. Too bad you don't live a little farther north, you'd have lots of opportunities to drag people out of the ditches. Guess all you guys got out of this storm was some cold rain?
Man those are some nice trucks! 77 - THANKS! And yeah, all we got was rain. We havent seen any snow to speak of for a couple of years. I want one good snow for a day or so, then 80* HA HA! Nice job on the body work! Mike
Thanks. Wish I had more time to work on it. It's taken me a year to get this far! Hopefully it'll look straight when I get a glossy coat of paint on it
