bucks77ford, Yes It's a toggle.very observant. It's not connected to anything now. This used to be my work truck for horseshoeing. I had a shell with side doors and the switch was for lights inside the shell. I'd just flick 'em on getting out of the truck when working late.
I see...That was a good idea for your shell lights. Now you could mount a roll bar or push bar with lights and use that toggle for it. Or you could add some accent lighting to your interior and use it for that. Or you could just leave it there so people like me ask you what it's for. Do you have more pics of the truck?
thanx, i kno it's gonna be a lot of work, but i'm not gonna back down! My cousin tried talking me into jus driving the ford and buying another project truck, and i almost caved but I got to thinking really hard and decided to keep goin', im almost ashamed for even thinkin that! I was just really shocked at the amount of rust, there was some i didnt even see until i bought it. but i dont care, cuz it reminds me of ridin in my dads old '79, that my grandpa left to him! and im gonna build in memory of my granpa Joe.
You can create a gallery on this site to post your pics. Up top toward the Header for this site, you'll see HOME, FORUMS, GALLERIES, ETC. Just put your pointer on gallery and go from there. Just a tip.
Has anyone else had problems creating or editing their gallery on here using Internet Explorer 7? Every time I try to edit or add a gallery, it causes my Explorer to crash.
For now, here is the page on my '74 Explorer.
