Go ahead and gut them if you want. You know the consequences if you get caught (highly unlikely), but it's still your truck and your choice. One more truck without cats is not going to effect anyone's health. A city bus produces 20x the emissions that one of our trucks will in a year.

Yeah and I haven't heard the emissions police crackin down on them. If you look at how many busses run run 24/7 and "clean them up" We as consumers would probably get a break on some of this crap we have to do to get tags each year.
what about putting on a set of high flow cats? you are still keepin the air clean while gainin a lil horse power and really helpin the sound. weve got tons of boys around here who sware by em.
