wait to start light?

Ok so i went out this morning, and the wait to start light didn't glow when i turned on the key. odd. i waited anyways thinking the light was burnt out. no start

So since search is disabled right now i start waiding through the glow plug stickey, i've got to page 10 but still no references to the wait to start light.

one adobe doc that shows the pcm getting info from one of the temp sensors and baro and turning on the light. do i have a bad sensor? or do i have a bad light and a failing gpr at the same time.... it has been 6 days since i was in the cold so i havn't payed attention to the light.

Was it just the wts light or all the dash lights, did the water in fuel and batt light come on?

No start with no WTS lamp indicates a burned out fuse. Check your fuse that powers the fuel bowl heater. If it is out, unplug the heater, replace the fuse and try to restart.

The element is probably toasted and shorting out, or the wiring to it has a short.
The way to tell is to disconnect it and see if it blows the fuse if it does, its in the wiring. If not its the element.

A good possibility would be an intermittant short in the fuel bowl heater. You can unplug the heater at the fuel bowl and see if it blows again without the heater in the circuit.
