Alrighty i tried this at the "other site" but haven't gotten much of any help so i thought i'd try here.
Long story short i'm going to be building a cage for my comp mud truck for safety reasons and to make the tech guys happy, and to stiffin the frame and well make it a better all around truck.
So i'm lookin for some input and i've drawn something up on autocad for critique, and i've done some lookin and i think it looks good, it weighs about 350lbs and uses about 130ft of 1.75x.125 tubing, if i do this cage i will make a tin can out of the truck taking out all the double layered sheet metal, but the bed will be staying as per class rules :
So anything you would change, keep in mind theres a few pieces of tubing where the final position will be dependant on the seat and 5pt harness location.
