transfer case problem or manual hub problem

I have an 86 f150 went offroad no hardcore **** fwd was working fine this last weekend went offroad put the truck in 4 wheel locked the hubs 4 wheel not working there was no noise no nothing the transfer case shifter linkage is still hooked up but it feels loose some where but i dont know i just changed the front wheel bearings and also checked the hubs they seemed fine i notice when my buddy was puting the other rotor back on it didnt slip on as easy as the other side did could this cause a problem. On the transfer case there is 4 high 2 high neutral 4 low Put it in 4 high not working 4 low not working neutral & 2 high works can it be in the hubs?

Could be one hub. With an open front diff. you will get no power to either front wheel if one hub is not engaging. Try to spin the front driveshaft with the t-case in 2wd, and the hubs locked. The shaft should not spin, if it does, you will easily see wich axle is turning, and this will determine which hub is in question. If it does not spin, then the hubs are fine, and you have to look into that case starting with that loose linkage.
