4x4 hub vacuum lines

I was crawling around under my truck while changing the oil and I noticed that there are vacuum lines running to the hubs on both sides. I do not have ESOF but have the manual hubs and floor shifter. Why the vacuum lines?

likely these are the antilock brake motion sensors.

if they are the abs wheelspeed sensors they are bolted to the spindle before they go into the hub ,if they are vacumn lines,they simply press onto nipple on the top of the hub.
