I have owned 3 superduties, one was a v10 and the others are Diesels my brother now has a Superduty with a v10. My best fuel mileage was right at 14 mpg on a 300 mile round trip in my v10.... There was plenty of hills on that trip (from 3500' to sea level) but I kept it at 55 mph the entire trip I honestly believe this is the case. If you stay around 55 and drive like their is an egg in between your foot and the gas peddle you can get good fuel mileage in these v10's... My brother can't keep his foot out of his and he gets around 10mpg...
