I think the "4 speed" in the 82 is really a 3 speed + OD "4th" it is a mazda tranny that was used in minivans and such. At least that is what I was told when I blew the one in my 81 to pieces. Swaped in a t4 and miss that thing something fierce.

ya theres no body on the frame the only thing left is the frame engine tranny and transfercase. an old mechanic in my town said its a borg warner but i have no idea where i can run the code on the tranny ill try and get the code and put it up on here tomorow (sunday) thanks for the help!
