Question tailgate seal

Has anyone put on a tailgate seal? I guess it's a stick on like a weather seal.
I'm wondering if they work to keep out dust and dirt? I also wonder if it makes it hard to close the tailgate? Appreciate your input.

Yes I have, on the vertical sides I used a flat stripping with ridges, and a normal round one across the bottom. Going through carwashes is pretty good now, hardly a drop get in. Tailgate was not affected by this mod.

Thumbs up

Yesterday I had a lo-pro and westin oval bars put on the truck. I was looking around the showroom and I picked up a package of trail-seal tailgate seal. I told them to put that on also. It looks good I hope it works good. The gravel roads in Canada can get either very muddy or very dusty. It should keep out most of the dust.
