92 F-150 E4OD question...

Guys I was looking underneath the truck tonite and unplugged the right side transmission connection and I found multiple wires that were frayed before they went into the weatherproofing of the connector... Where can I get another pigtail to replace some of these wires besides the ford dealership?

ford sells a replacment harness,they are not that expensive.

you can also go to a bone yard and get one,they unplug at the fenderwell.i work for a salvage yard.we sell them alot

No bohiaa the transmission works fine, but when something does happen to the tranny that will be the first place that I will look at... Just telling you that I noticed it that's all. Jyccustoms can you get me a wire harness that plugs into the 92 F-150 E4OD tranny? I had a local salvage yard that I could go to about a year ago, but they sold or crushed all their old pre 99 vehicles, talk about stupid.... Is there a place online that I can get ford dealer parts for my 92 F-150 4x4 truck guys?

hay Jrock,just pm me the stats on your truck,we just got in a couple of these trucks,5.0 w/e4ods.i can get u a good used one,cheap.im driving one in the yard right now.as soon as we get the title in a week or two i can get u the harness.but get me the info on your truck so i can make shure its the right one.
