a "new" trailer
my neighbor just gave me a Jayco pop-up camper. the cable lifting system is shot and the canvas needs replacing. what do you guys think of using the box and building a small hardsided camper out of it. I think it's a 12 ft long box.

The beauty of a pop-up is the ease in which it tows; increasing the frontal area will make for a harder pull and be more susceptible to winds. You also need to check the tire rating to see how much weight you can safely add.
