460EFI mods

what have you all done to increase power in your efi 460? i want to build a 514 but i want to keep the factory efi. if i can get in the 500tq/500hp range i would be happy. i can probably do that with a 460 what do you all think?

If you go back, there are a few posts on stroking EFI, the consensus has been that you can not do it without an aftermarket fuel management system or going Mass air and having the computer reflashed. Frederic is one good source for information on this, there are a few more who's names escape me right now.
Now, my intention is to try exactly what you are talking about, but I have no expectations of it actually working as people much smarter then myself have already said it won't work. But, just as an idea, I intend to stroke out to 514, upgrade fuel regulator and injectors, possibly fuel pump, get the 'F' heads, do a home port job, I already have an aftermarket cam. I intend on installing a good air/fuel gauge to monitor at start up to see if I can get it to run, but like I said, I've already been told that it won't. I figure I'll need all these things regardless, so I might as well try it before I invest in a $2k FMS.
My project will be a work in process, I'm hoping I can get it completed before year end, but with a wedding in there, I don't have high hopes. Keep everyone posted on your progress and we'll compare notes.
