Heater Cable

Does anyone sell a new heater cable that goes out to the control valve? thanks

The "help" section of any autoparts store sells universal choke cable that can be used in the meantime. Checkout the vendors that sponsor this site and you should be sble to find it.

Is your cable broken or just frozen/rusted? Mine was rusted solid. I sprayed it with WD-40 and had my dad tap the valve with a little hammer as I pulled and pushed the heater ****. Eventually we worked it out and it works great (although it blows cold air all the time - not sure why).

salvaged a few frozen pull cables by spraying w/ a metal etch, or rust remover and letting it set for several minutes then working the cable. May have to go thru this process 2-3 times. If successful, suggest spray with lubricant of some type.
