I was given a 77 F 150 from my uncle last year and finally have time to work on it. The truck sat for a little while so.... All the lights work except the parking lights, front. The side lights on the front fender work so I'm ruling out the switch. The turn signals work fine and bulbs are new. Any ideas where to look? Thanks Matt
Check the bulb sockets, you should have 12V to the sockets brown wire with the parking lamps on.
If you do have 12 volts in the brown wire at the sockets, make sure that power is goint through the apropriate socket terminal inside the socket, if not replace the sockets.
If you do not have 12V in the brown wire leading to the sockets, check the two front parking lamps. they are on the same circut. If you got power there, then it could be a problem with the wiring between the side markers and front lamps.
However, I suspect a problem with the sockets themselves.
