I've searched all of the tire threads on the site, but can't find anyone trying to do what I'm thinking about. (That should tell me something right there).
I've got a 95 Bronco and I'm looking to get 35" tires on it with as little lift as possible. Can I put 35 X 12.5 BFG M/T's on 15x10 rims with only a 2" leveling kit in the front and the cut-out fender flares? I'd also need to shim the bumper quite a bit.
Would it work at all, or should I just go with the 4" lift kit and do it the easy way?
definatly go with the 4" lift. reason is the stock suspension isnt very good. the 4" with a little fender trimming and a fender flare would work nice. find a kit with the extended radius arms. this does 2 things, makes it easier to align and will stay aligned better and also provides better suspension travel upfront. not to mention there wont be a bracket hanging down to get hung up on things. i run those bfg's and like them, if you live in snow/ice areas get the middle luggs sipped. this will help a bunch and wont hurt the tire at all
