I'm new to this board. I've always loved Ford Trucks, but I've been more of a muscle car guy my whole life, mainly Mustangs. I have a 96' Bronco and I was wondering about a few things. I ordered a 4" lift kit for it, will 35" tires be to big, or will I be ok? Also, does anyone know if the 95 Lightning Valence would fit on my bumper, I figured it would, but I know a guy who says it won't because the frame and ##### are different, but I don't think that matters?

 

I run 35" tires on my '96 with a 4" lift, but I had to trim my bumper so that they wouldn't rub when I turn the wheel.

 

Other than that you don't have problems though? Do you have any picks of your truck?

 

I have a 4" susp. lift with 35's on my '90. The wheelwell on the '90 is considerably larger in the front that the '92+ trucks, and I still hit the body. 35's with an 8" wheel and 3.5-4.5" BS is probably your best bet for a good fit. With a wider wheel or less BS, the tire will hit sheetmetal.

 

I don't have any pics of the truck on my PC right now, but I can try to get a few for you to look at. I have the 35s on 8" wide wheels...not sure what my backspacing is on those.
