Trailer title issue

A majority of utility trailers will only have a sticker with the VIN. I have only seen a few manufacturers that stamp the VIN. If the previous owner had the trailer titled in their name the they should be able to go to the DMV and get the VIN that is on record.

Well, I bought it, had it for 1 month, never used it, and passed on some really good deals on vehicles, and just sold it today. I lost $175 in the deal, but I'm glad it's gone, looking to be a major headache. I'm going to just cut my losses and buy a new one so I don't let any more deals slide through my fingers. So monday it's off to give the local dealer hell.
